Young Adults Day Program
The Down Syndrome Association of Simcoe County's Young Adults Day Program is designed to offer continued development of independence skills and provide social opportunities. Activities will include physical activity, arts/crafts, music, outings, academics, games, meal prep, and more!
Summer 2024 Program Details:
The DSASC Young Adult Day Program will be continuing throughout the summer. The YADP Summer Session will be running from Tuesday, July 9 - Friday, August 23. Parents of adults age 21 and up will be able to select the days and weeks that they require. Summer is a fun and eventful time. We understand that everyone will be vacationing and visiting friends and family. Please choose days that work around your summer events.
Register by Sunday, June 1.
Location: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 170 Steel St, Barrie, ON
When: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9 am - 4 pm, from July 9 - Friday, August 23

Cost:
- DSASC Members: $80/day
- Non-Members: $98/day
- Participant to Staff Ratio: We maintain a ratio of approximately 3 participants to 1 staff member. It's important that attendees can participate independently in a group environment for the safety of all.
- Registration is on a first-come first-served basis, we reserve the right to limit the number of days in an effort to accommodate each member family in accessing at least one day per week.
- We reserve the right to cancel days that have low registration numbers.

- Step 1: Fill out the registration Registration Request form below.
- Step 2: A member of the subcommittee will contact you to confirm your spot.
- Step 3: Upon confirmation, fill out the following required documents Enrollment Form, Letter of Agreement Document and Medication Form (if applicable). An invoice will also be sent, which must be paid before the first day of classes.
