Young Adults Day Program

The Down Syndrome Association of Simcoe County's Young Adults Day Program is designed to offer continued development of independence skills and provide social opportunities. Activities will include physical activity, arts/crafts, music, outings, academics, games, meal prep, and more! This program is for individuals with Down syndrome who are 21+.

Fall Program
Fall Program Registration
Registration opens Friday August 14 at 12PM NOON for current participants.
Registration opens Sunday August 16 at 12PM NOON for new YADP Members. 
Registration closes on Friday August 21 at 4PM.

To answer some questions ahead of registration please read below for more information. 

Program Dates:
Tuesday September 8th, 2026 - Friday, October 30th

Age:
Participants must be 21 years of age or older. 


How to register: 
  • Fill out the registration request form. The Google Form Opens at NOON on Friday August 14, 2026. You must complete the Google Form to get on the waiting list for this program. All forms are time and date-stamped. Spaces will be offered in the order they are received on a first come, first served basis. A member of the committee will contact you to confirm your spot. Upon confirmation, an invoice will also be sent, which must be paid before the first day of classes. 
For new attendees you must fill out an enrollment form and liability waiver prior to starting the program.

Important Note:
  • Participant to Staff Ratio: We maintain a ratio of approximately 3 participants to 1 staff member. It's important that attendees can participate independently in a group environment for the safety of all.
  • Registration is on a first-come first-served basis, we reserve the right to limit the number of days in an effort to accommodate each member family in accessing at least one day per week.
  • We reserve the right to cancel days that have low registration numbers.
