Young Adults Day Program

The Down Syndrome Association of Simcoe County's Young Adults Day Program is designed to offer continued development of independence skills and provide social opportunities. Activities will include physical activity, arts/crafts, music, outings, academics, games, meal prep and more! This program is for individuals with Down syndrome who are 20+.

YADP Registration - Session 2
Program Dates: Tuesday November 3, 2026 - Friday, December 18, 2026

Registration opens Tuesday October 13, 2026 at 8:00AM for CURRENT & RETURNING participants.
Registration opens Thursday October 15, 2026 at 8:00AM NEW participants. 
Registration for ALL participants closes on Friday October 30, 2026 at 4:00PM.

To answer some questions ahead of registration, please read below for more information. 

How to register: 
Registration links will be sent by e-mail at 8:00 AM on the registration dates listed above. Please complete the Google Form provided to submit your registration request. All submissions are automatically date and timestamped and available spaces will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis in the order registrations are received. 

PLEASE NOTE: Submitting the registration form does not guarantee a spot in the program. A member of the YADP Committee will contact you to confirm your placement. Once your spot has been confirmed, you will receive an invoice which must be paid before the first day of programming.

Current & Returning Participants:
​All participants are required to have a completed an enrollment form and liability waiver prior to starting the program or at the start of each new year. If you have no yet completed yours for this year, please do so at the time of registration.

Important Note:

• Participant to Staff Ratio: We maintain a ratio of approximately 3 participants to 1 staff member. It's important that attendees can participate independently in a group environment for the safety of all.
• Registration is on a first-come first-served basis, we reserve the right to limit the number of days in an effort to accommodate each member family in accessing at least one day per week.
• We reserve the right to cancel days that have low registration numbers.
